It aims to develop a core-group of peer educators, who can assist in generating awareness and demand for adolescent-friendly information/education and services on adolescent sexuality, reproductive health including teen pregnancy prevention through the ‘Teen Health Kiosk’ established in the school.

ABOUT US
The Teen Health Club is consisting of 10 well trained-peer educators which aims to provide necessary information for the teens of our present generation and help them raise awareness of the rising problems being faced by the teens in this era.
THE KIOSK
The THK-GMATHS is located inside the Guidance Office and nearby the School Clinic which creates a more student-friendly environment, which helps the student to open up more about their situation and their problems being faced.
PEER EDUCATION
Peer education is the teaching or sharing of health information, values and behavior in educating others who may share similar social backgrounds or life experiences. Rather than health professionals or teachers educating the students, the idea behind peer education is that peer educators (trained students) are in the best position to encourage healthy behaviour to each other.
